HAPPY 25th ANNIVERSARY
VOLUSIA SEA TURTLE SOCIETY
This article, written by Beth Libert for the Turtle Tracker, tells the history of
how the turtle surveys began in Volusia County.  I found it very interesting
and with Beth's permission am including it on our anniversary page.  Stay
tuned for more pictures and information about our 25 year history.

April 28, 2009 -  The 25th Anniversary Party
Marye was presented with a proclamation by NSB Mayor Mackay.  A
reception followed at the Flagler Avenue Coffee Shop, where a good
time was had by all.  Attending were volunteers, past and present,
EAI and county representatives and faithful supporters.  Thank you
everyone, what a great way to launch our 2009 sea turtle nesting
season.
There were turtles hiding everywhere!!!!
