HAPPY 25th ANNIVERSARY VOLUSIA SEA TURTLE SOCIETY

This article, written by Beth Libert for the Turtle Tracker, tells the history of how the turtle surveys began in Volusia County. I found it very interesting and with Beth's permission am including it on our anniversary page. Stay tuned for more pictures and information about our 25 year history.

Marye was presented with a proclamation by NSB Mayor Mackay. A reception followed at the Flagler Avenue Coffee Shop, where a good time was had by all. Attending were volunteers, past and present, EAI and county representatives and faithful supporters. Thank you everyone, what a great way to launch our 2009 sea turtle nesting season.
